Meet the PROTELI Founders
PROTELI was founded by Martin and Eugene, two IT professionals who saw a broken system and decided to fix it. They combined Martin’s corporate know-how with Eugene’s startup ingenuity to create a company that simplifies IT, removes stress, and helps businesses grow.
Eugene Boutenko
Eugene’s career began early, landing a telecommunications internship in high school at just 16, where his enthusiasm quickly led to increased responsibilities. By 18, he was managing the IT infrastructure of a startup and continued to ascend the ranks in various tech companies. Notably, Eugene worked at Register.com managing server infrastructure, but the rigid corporate environment didn’t suit his entrepreneurial spirit.
Rooted in the fast-paced world of ’90s internet startups, Eugene thrived on resourcefulness and agility, which laid the foundation for his innovative approach to IT services. His expertise in IT infrastructure and support became pivotal in shaping PROTELI’s customer-focused solutions.
Martin Propper
Martin’s path to technology was shaped by his curiosity about design and functionality. Switching to computer science in college, he began his career programming real-time software for a Naval defense contractor before transitioning to system and network roles at a supercomputer company, later acquired by Hewlett Packard. He leveraged his programming background for automation and monitoring solutions and subsequently advanced as a senior systems architect in the financial services sector.
Martin’s methodical approach, honed through years of managing complex projects in high-stakes industries, made him a driving force in virtualization and disaster recovery. This structured mindset became integral to PROTELI’s development and operational strategy.
